Take Action!
It is critical for Montanans to pay attention, speak up and attend public meetings in their area. The DEQ needs to hear from everyone who loves the Smith River and is concerned about the myriad potential environmental impacts this project would have on the renowned river, its headwaters and its Blue Ribbon trout fishery.
The health of Sheep Creek and the Smith River are threatened by this proposed foreign owned project. The DEQ needs to know that water quality, water quantity, fish, recreation, our outdoor economy and our outdoor culture are way more important to the future generations of Montanans then a foreign owned mine.
