Fall 2017
General Meeting format: Meet and greet anytime after 6:30 pm. Fly Tying will take place before the presentations. Presentations will begin at 7:30.
Our first meeting will be held October 5th in the Banquet Hall at the Do Bar. We are planning to have a guest presenter from Yellowdog Fly Fishing talking Louisiana Redfish.
Our second meeting will be on November 9th. Fred Telleen will be doing a presentation on Alaska Fly Fishing.
Our final event of 2017 will be the Christmas Party on December 14th.
Why the Do Bar?
We have selected the Do Bar for several reasons. Within the building, there is a God Fathers Pizza. Many of our members are unable to get from work to dinner and to our meetings or events, so its nice to have a food option available. Grab a slice or a pie with a couple friends before the meetings begin and enjoy.
While adult beverages are available, the Do Bar Banquet hall is an all ages venue and soft drinks are also an option.
The third reason for the venue is the media capability. Three large screen TV’s and a projection screen are ideal for viewing our presentations.
MRF is your Club
Please join us this season. Meetings and events will start at 7:30 pm unless otherwise noted. Come early if you’d like to socialize and grab some food and beverage. We will be planning some great meetings, events and outings again this year. Spread the word and get involved with MRF. We have lots going on besides our yearly banquet and we can do a lot more with membership participation.
