Kelly Galloup’s Streamer School & Iron Fly Competition

Kelly Galloup is this decades streamer sensei.  He has a busy calendar and Missouri River Fly Fishers has been trying for years to get things lined up, so he can do a visit for our members.  On Thursday April 11th @ the Do Bar Banquet Hall, Kelly will be giving us a presentation on designing and fishing streamers for big trout.  This is our last big event heading into the fishing season.  You won’t want to miss it.

After the presentation, we will be hosting an Iron Fly Competition.  Fly tiers will make their best attempt at tying a streamer from materials provided at the event.  Kelly will pick the winning fly.

Join us at the Do Bar on Thursday April 11th at 7 p.m.  Not only will you get to meet Kelly Galloup, but we will be kicking things off with Montana’s finest Barbecue from Smoked.
